WHO?
Anyone based in France, Spain, Belgium or Italy (non EU nationals welcome), aged between 18 and 30 years old, who is interested and involved in #DIY #Makerspace #3D #art #youthwork
WHEN?
On October 12-16 2026 in the city of Ghent (Belgium). October 11th and 17th are travel days (outbound and inbound).
COST
Traveling up to 320 EUR is included in the grant, as well as all the workshops, food and accommodation in the historical "Oude Abdij Drongen" (shared non -mixed rooms)
HOW TO APPLY?
Fill in this form and explain why you want to participate. You don't need to be an expert in technology but some background is useful. We encourage participants with an interest in developing their career in sustainabilty, arts/creativity and youth/education. Registration closes on July 31st at 23:59.
Our international mobility experience brings together at least 20 young participants for an inspiring, hands-on learning journey. During this bootcamp, you'll explore green job fields, work in international teams, and apply your skills in a real-world setting.
This Erasmus+ mobility focuses on reusing, recycling and repairing practices at the intersection between the green and digital transformations. Participants will gain experience in electronic repair, digital fabrication, and the use of 3D technologies. The underlying idea is to obtain insights into green jobs and discover professional opportunities in a creative way. A team of facilitators from De creative Stem (Belgium), Ayamola (Spain), Cogito srl (Italy) and Digijeunes (France) will be present.
The five days of the international mobility will be dedicated to workshops about the themes of the project, namely 3D technologies, recycling and digital fabrication, electronic repair and reuse practices in the arts. For instance, one workshop is about creative reuse of waste to build musical instruments and create visual and sound artwork.
Besides the workshops, the creation of a collaborative artwork will enable participants to develop skills and techniques in several aspects of reuse, recycling and repair. Each person will create a module by activating reusing and recycling practices, which will then be brought together to form a large, organic, interactive structure, also embedding electronic sensors and actuators. The individual pieces made by each participant will come together to create a collective, modular and easily transportable installation.
The final artwork will be exhibited at the Mutation Festival, which takes place from 20 to 22 November in Ghent, as well as at Barcelona's Galleria Marzia.
